Job opportunity as Project Manager for film launch

IofC-UK is looking for a Project Manager who would play a key role in planning and organising the launch of 'The Man who Built Peace', a documentary about Frank Buchman, one of the great peacebuilders of the 20th century and the founder of Initiatives of Change. The world premiere of the film was at the Illuminate Film Festival in America in June 2017. The UK launch of the film in London is planned for June 2018, as well as a screening tour of the film in eight cities across the UK.

The International Communications Forum (ICF) is committed to media ethics and the freedoms of expression and information. The ICF runs workshops where senior media professionals talk frankly to students about the ethical issues they face in their careers. This programme has been successfully trialled at the Lincoln University School of Journalism, and the ICF now plans to offer this more widely. The intern will help promote the workshops to UK schools of journalism, drawing on the ICF’s 20 years of experience in running conferences and seminars worldwide and its many contacts at a senior level in the media.
