Pranay Raj Shakya from Nepal based in Liverpool has been working as a volunteer for a decade. He is currently working as elected Vice President at Liverpool Hope University’s Student Union while also working on his not-for-profit campaign, Lead the Change International. He led a team of volunteers in Nepal for emergency relief works after the earthquake hit Nepal in April 2015.

Dr Muna Ismail is Programme Manager for Initiatives of Change in the UK. She is a scientist and an environmentalist with a passion for land restoration in degraded arid ecosystems for Sustainable Livelihood Development in post-conflict states. In the last two years she has been developing Refugees as Rebuilders™ Training of Trainers (ToT) courses for Diaspora from the Horn of Africa and other conflict-affected regions.

As part of the organisation's emergency response team he spends about half his working time in conflict-affected areas such as South Sudan, the Central African Republic, Burundi and Afghanistan.
