Women's space for peace - reaching out for peace

An afternoon for women to explore and reflect on how peace fits into their lives at all levels – home, work, community, and world, but especially our own minds and hearts

Venue: St Michael’s House, 11 Priory Row, Coventry CV1 5EX

Saturday 22 April, Saturday 13 May, Saturday 24 June

1.30pm for 1.45pm start – 5pm

24 June

REACHING OUT FOR PEACE
taking a look at the many needs for myself, my community and our world, and a personal reflection on how we use our resources and energy

Cost: There is no charge, however we do appreciate a contribution toward the refreshments and travel for our facilitators. Suggestion £5 - £10 For stories of Creators of Peace Circles around the world see: www.cop.iofc.org

Each session will be facilitated in the style of a ‘talking circle’, where all voices are respectfully heard, and establishing shared values will allow us to explore diverse perspectives. We will engage in an exercise to stimulate reflection on the topic of the day, followed by a guided time of personal reflection. Last of all, we will relax over a cup of tea and a ‘discover the other’ story-sharing time.
