The Creators of Peace Circle is a small, community gathering of women who together work through material especially designed to deepen their understanding of their peace creating capabilities and identify issues for action. It is also a sharing of experiences and making friendships.

During the Weekend Peace Circle you will be invited to reflect on questions such as:

  • What is peace anyway?
  • What qualities do I need to create peace?
  • How can I find inner peace?
  • How can I better understand others?
  • Why is forgiveness so powerful?

And hear stories of ordinary work doing extraordinary things in their communities.
You will also be invited to share something of your own life’s story.

If you are coming please include the above dates and times into your diary – we can only be a full circle if everyone makes the commitment to participate for the whole time.

CREATORS OF PEACE UK empowers women to be radical peace-builders, starting in their own lives and communities. Peace is more than the absence of conflict: it involves the struggle for a world where everyone has food, shelter, opportunities and respect.

Our ‘Creators of Peace Circles’ and workshops enable women to embrace their value as peace-creators in family, community and nation, to find inner peace and reach out to the needs of society. As participants share their stories and explore what they can do to create peace, they build new relationships of trust and friendship across racial, religious and social divides.

We are part of Creators of Peace International, a programme of Initiatives of Change. Creators of Peace Circles have taken place in more than 30 countries.
