Human Rights

You are warmly invited to a Stories of Trust event on World Human Rights Day.

On 10 December 1948, the UN adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Today, about a quarter of the world’s population continue to live under persecution. This is a day to stand together to honour and observe our basic human rights.

This event will celebrate bridges that are being built amidst challenges. Be inspired by stories from individuals who have overcome adversity and listen to ‘poetry of peace’ from Syria. We will explore creative ways of addressing the four pillars of the International Declaration of Human Rights: Freedom from Fear, Freedom of Religion, Freedom from Want and Freedom of Expression with inspirational top speakers. Make a commitment to making human rights a reality and join us!
