Stepout: Reaching your local community

Does the scale of unmet needs in your community frustrate you? Do you find yourself wondering what you could do to help? Want easy and replicable tools that can be used anywhere to implement sustainable change?

Gather the inspiration you have cultivated from your community and engage in social action. Learn how to set up a project, be equipped with practical skills shared by guest speakers, and work with a team to seek an outcome with social impact.

Topics: how to build a team, how to set up a campaign, fundraising tips, sustainable activism, project development and expansion

Format: interactive sessions, research, group discussion, team work. Special time will be given for self reflection and personal development through Initiatives of Change’s Seed Behaviour’s.

Dates: 20 May, 10 June, 17 June

Time: 10.30 refreshments, start, 11.00, end 16.30

Venue: 12 Norham Road, Oxford OX2 6SF
