IofC UK’s Fellowship Weekend 2023

IofC UK fellowship members and guests gathered for the first Fellowship Weekend since before the COVID-19 pandemic at the end of October this year! Volunteers, staff, and guests of the IofC UK network reunited at Missenden Abbey to ‘Remember, Reflect and Reignite’ their shared values

Throughout the weekend, attendees reflected on their own individual journey’s with IofC UK, remembered members of the Fellowship who have sadly passed in recent years, and drew on an inspiring keynote speech delivered by Rajmohan Gandhi; author, activist and grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. The keynote address was a beautiful reminder to the work of the past and for attendees joining for the very first time a chance to be ignited. Rajmohan’s speech deeply resonated with members of the fellowship who have all dedicated their lives to the betterment of global society through various initiatives, from resolving issues in the fields of Sustainability, to  helping rebuild areas which have endured persistent, ongoing conflict.

The  Fellowship Weekend was defined by the expansive and unique Fellowship of peace builders and change-makers that IofC has curated throughout years. Guests of the fellowship had the opportunity to listen to those who are active in the IofC network and to hear about the incredible work that they are facilitating and simultaneously innovating.

Initiatives of Change UK would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped organise the Fellowship Weekend and all of those who attended from all parts of the world.
